Very proud of our Jarrell Police Department

🚔 PROUD MOMENT FOR THE JARRELL POLICE DEPARTMENT! 🚔

We are incredibly proud to recognize Officer Wright, Corporal Korn, and Officer Manning for their exceptional service and lifesaving actions in our community.

On August 8, 2026, Officers Manning and Wright responded to a cardiac arrest here in Jarrell. They arrived to find an unconscious man who was not breathing and had no pulse. Without hesitation, lifesaving measures were taken, including CPR, and their actions contributed to the man’s survival.

On August 11, 2026, Officer Wright and Corporal Korn responded to a serious overdose, where their quick response and decisive actions played a crucial role in saving a life.

For their actions, these officers were recognized with the Jarrell Police Department Life-Saving Award.

What makes this recognition even more remarkable is that Officer Wright joined the Jarrell Police Department in June and has already earned TWO Life-Saving Awards. That is an incredible accomplishment and a reflection of the dedication, skill, and heart he has brought to our department.

These moments are a reminder that behind the badge are men and women who answer the call, not knowing what will await them, and when seconds matter, their training, courage, and willingness to act can quite literally mean the difference between life and death.

Please join us in congratulating Officer Wright, Corporal Korn, and Officer Manning and thanking all of our Jarrell Police Department officers for the work they do every day to protect and serve our community.

We are proud of you, and Jarrell is fortunate to have you serving our community!
