Celebrate summer with the Janesville Police Department, the Rock County Sheriff's Office and the City of Janesville Recreation Division on National Night Out Tuesday, August 6 from 5 - 8 p.m. between City Hall and the Police Services building!

National Night Out promotes neighborhood spirit and police/community partnerships. This free event features free food, drinks, community booths, police demonstrations, kids’ games, and much more!

Some pretty awesome things happen in downtown Janesville. This Escape Room experience is just one of them. Reserve your spot today!

Hedberg Public Library will host Escape Room: Dead in Space at Olde Towne Mall on July 20 from 9 AM to 5 PM. Three compartments stand between you and safety. Your team has 45 minutes to reach the end. Registration is not required, but teams may reserve an escape room timeslot in advance. Teams of 6-12 can secure their own adventure, while smaller groups may be paired with others. All timeslots available on a first-come, first-served basis. You've seen the fitness area in downtown Janesville, but you have no idea how to use it?
Here's your chance to learn!

Stop by the Outdoor Fitness Court Demo Days on July 18 at 6 AM and August 9 at 8:30 PM. Instructors will show you how to utilize the Fitness Court for free and lead you through the 7-minute exercises that are provided on the free Fitness Court app (available on Android and iOS). No experience is needed and beginners are highly encouraged to come on out. There will be on-site childcare available during the August date.
