All of us at JPPA local 32 express our thoughts and condolences regarding the passing of recently retired Milton Police Department Deputy Chief Michael Chesmore to the Milton Police Department-Wisconsin, Mike's family, friends, and those who knew him. Beyond his dedication and service in law enforcement the last 23 years, Mike was a great, husband, family man, friend, and father which I had the privilege to witness. Godspeed brother
We are deeply saddened by the unexpected passing of Deputy Chief Michael Chesmore, a recently retired professional whose 23 years of dedicated service to the City of Milton and the Milton Police Department left a lasting impact on our community.
Mike served with pride, integrity, and a genuine commitment to the safety and well-being of others. His leadership, professionalism, and steady presence helped shape the department and the people within it, and his contributions will not be forgotten.
Beyond his uniform and badge, Mike was a devoted husband, father, family member and friend. Our hearts go out to his family during this incredibly difficult time. We recognize that his greatest legacy is not only his years of public service, but also the love and memories he leaves behind with those closest to him.
We honor Mikeโs life with gratitude for his service, respect for his character, and appreciation for the sacrifices he and his family made on behalf of our community. He will be missed, remembered, and forever regarded as part of the Milton law enforcement family. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers.
