World Elder Abuse Awareness Day is recognized on June 15th every year. This is a day to raise awareness of forms of elder abuse. Sadly, many cases go unreported, which is why raising awareness is so important! The day is about education, learning to recognize the warning signs and connecting those in need with the right resources and support. Whether it’s a neighbor, parent, or grandparent, we all have a role to play in looking out for the older adults in our lives. Rock County Adult Protective Services will be at Hedberg Library to answer questions and give information on recognizing elder abuse.
