🧡 June is National Safety Month! 🧡

Little hands are curious, and keeping them safe starts at home. You won't have to worry, just be happy!

This month, Janesville Mobilizing 4 Change (JM4C) and Rock County Prevention Network (RCPN) are sharing FREE resources to help families create safer spaces for children and prevent accidental poisonings. You can pick yours up at Hedberg Public Library on display behind the DVDs and Blu-Rays.

Stop by and pick up:
🔒 FREE medication lock boxes
🎨 Finger paint, paint brush, and paper
💚 Mr. Yuk stickers
🔍 A family safety scavenger hunt
📋 Drug drop box location resources

A few simple steps can make a big difference in protecting curious little hands. Together, we can create safe homes where children can explore, learn, and grow.

We really hope that you aren't missing out on this amazing art! All funds go to support youth prevention efforts here in Janesville WI. Janesville Mobilizing 4 Change (JM4C) is a substance use prevention coalition that has been serving the Janesville community since 1999. For over two decades, JM4C has provided education, resources, and support to help young people make informed, healthy choices while staying ahead of emerging trends in youth substance use.

Mindful Masterpieces is a youth-led art auction celebrating creativity, mental wellness, and youth empowerment. Local students in grades K–12 have submitted original artwork inspired by mental health, resilience, self-expression, and well-being.

Bidding is open online from April 18 at 8:00 AM through April 24 at 11:00 AM. All proceeds support JM4C’s youth programs, including school-based intervention, leadership opportunities, mentorship, and substance use prevention services.

The top-selling artwork in each grade group (K–2, 3–5, 6–8, and 9–12) will win a $50 gift card to a local restaurant and special recognition.

Your support helps make this work possible. Together, we can continue creating a safer, healthier community where youth feel supported, empowered, and seen. Thank you for auctioning!
