Makerspace is available for open play Saturday from 10:30-3:30 and Tuesday through Friday from 3:00-4:30. The library is closed this Monday for Labor Day. Impromptu use may be available at other times, ask the staff member at the information desk if Makerspace can be opened. Children 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times in the Makerspace.

We are always working to offer new technology and equipment for our community to use. Lobby demos give patrons a chance to see what we have available and try out new additions. Next Saturday, September 12, 2026, drop in between 1:15 and 2:15pm to learn how to cut cardboard into fun shapes using our child-friendly "Chomp Saw" and create puffy stickers using a specialty sticker-maker.

Adults are invited to join us Friday mornings from 9:30-11:30 for Early Birds! Stop by to socialize. Bring your own crafts to work on, color with our supplies, play a board game from our info zone, or enjoy some LEGO fun, building famous works of art and beautiful flowers using our new LEGO kits, grant funded by the Cummins Foundation During the summer our Early Birds finished the Mona Lisa, and have almost completed Van Gogh's Sunflowers.
