The Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassador Committee and staff recently presented the Customer Service Award for September to Whitney Weber with Sanford Health.

Gordon was nominated for helping a family navigate MyChart and medical proxy paperwork during a difficult medical situation. The award recognizes people who bring patience, care, and clear support to customers when they need it most.

“My father’s health has been failing, and he was very irritable and exhausted, so I called ahead to ask Whitney several questions about setting up MyChart and medical proxies. She was very patient and pleasant and had the forms ready for us when we arrived. My father was able to sit in the waiting room and rest while Whitney set everything up for us. I had been worried the visit would be confusing, uncomfortable, and take longer than my father could handle, but Whitney made it very quick and easy. I am extremely grateful for her help.”

Great work, Whitney! Way to go above and beyond to provide service that makes a real difference!

The Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors and staff recently presented Jamestown Parks and Recreation with the Business of the Month Award for September.

Jamestown Parks & Recreation is located at 1002 2nd Ave. SE in Jamestown and can be reached by calling 701-252-3982.

Their nomination stated:

“During the day, staff, especially Kelsey Hoium-Johnson, stayed involved by assisting volunteers, monitoring parking and traffic, and identifying ways to improve future events. They also set out picnic tables, confirmed power was working, kept the park looking its best, and quickly handled overflowing garbage cans. Their work played a major role in the success of the event, and we could not have created the same experience without their help.”

Great work to all the staff at Jamestown Parks & Recreation! We are so fortunate to have such a great crew in our community.

The Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors and staff recently helped Kountry Kreations Boutique celebrate its opening with a ribbon cutting.

Kountry Kreations is located at 223 1st Ave. N in Jamestown. Owned by Janet Ehlers, this local boutique offers a curated mix of women’s clothing, accessories, jewelry, custom-built décor, home items, car diffusers, gift products, and seasonal pieces. The shop also carries items with a local and western feel, including bison-themed apparel and home décor.

Their opening adds another small business to downtown Jamestown and gives residents a local place to shop for gifts, decor, and everyday finds!
