Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce is the primary source for businesses and individuals seeking information on the businesses in our community. Representing the vocal point of businesses, our Chamber is the catalyst for business opinions and represent the business needs in the community

It's Flag Day! A celebration of our nation's symbol of freedom.

Today, we observe the day when the Second Continental Congress officially adopted the Stars and Stripes as the design for the official U.S. flag. We have numerous Chamber Member's who fly Old Glory including Central Sales, Inc., Fort Seward, and Stutsman County Memorial Museum. We know there are many others too!

The Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce Beautification Committee has named Elroy & Marlys Wiest as this week’s Yard of the Week winner.

The winning yard is located at 610 4th St. NW.

Congratulations to Elroy & Marlys on a beautiful yard, and thank you for helping make Jamestown a more welcoming community. Each 2026 Yard of the Week winner receives $100 to a local greenhouse, a Yard of the Week certificate, and the Yard of the Week sign. Stutsman Harley-Davidson recently gave its building a fresh look, and the Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce helped celebrate the completed exterior remodel with a ribbon cutting!

Stutsman Harley-Davidson is located at 2501 3rd Ave. SW in Jamestown and can be reached at 701-252-5271

The remodel included new exterior paint, updated lighting, and new signage both inside and outside the building. The updates give the dealership a sharper look and a cleaner experience for customers when they walk in.

The Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce recently helped Brake Time celebrate its ribbon cutting in the former Loaf N’ Jug building.

Every strong community has businesses and organizations that choose to invest beyond their own walls.

At the Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce, those organizations are known as our Chamber Champions. These are members who support the Chamber at its highest level. Their investment helps make possible many of the programs, events, advocacy efforts, leadership initiatives, and community connections that benefit businesses throughout the region.

We are grateful for our current Chamber Champions: Dakota Central, Sanford Health, Cavendish Farms, and 201 Aesthetics. Through their leadership and partnership, these organizations help support efforts that connect businesses, develop future leaders, celebrate community achievements, and advocate for a strong local economy.

Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Emily Bivens gets a behind-the-scenes look at one of the jobs that helps keep Jamestown running every day as she joins the City of Jamestown Sewer Department as a Wastewater Maintenance Operator.

Working alongside Monte Rodacker, Emily learns about the important work involved in maintaining the city's wastewater collection system. From inspecting manholes and lift stations to learning about underground infrastructure and safety procedures, she experiences the wide variety of tasks wastewater operators perform to keep wastewater flowing safely and efficiently throughout the community.

This position offers a hands-on career for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, operating equipment, solving problems, and serving their community. Wastewater Maintenance Operators play a vital role in protecting public health and maintaining essential city services.
