We're still looking at possible severe weather this afternoon and into tonight. Most of the area is in a marginal risk (level 1/5) with a small portion of our NE being in a slight risk (level 2/5). Primary hazard will be gusty winds. Make sure you have multiple ways to receive warnings today!

Major to extreme heat risk will continue into the start of the weekend in Middle Tennessee. Heat indices will be in the mid 90s to the triple digits, and overnight temperatures in the 70s will not provide adequate relief from the heat. Make sure you're staying hydrated, and check on your neighbors, friends, and those in vulnerable populations to make sure they are staying cool! 🫠

It’s the final day of the Fentress County Fair, and we’re finishing out the week with a full day of events!

The Corn Hole Tournament starts at 11:00 AM, followed by our

Fentress Hope Foundation FREE Youth Spectacular from 12:00–3:00 PM — and it’s open to everyone!
Bring the kids and enjoy:
Free midway rides from 1:00–3:00 PM
Free hot dogs and water while supplies last

Then we’ll roll into the evening with the Pridefully Picked Cook-Off, Pedal Tractor Pull, and finish the night with the Demolition Derby at 6:30 PM!

Evening gates open at 4:30 PM — $5 admission, ages 5 & under free. The regular midway opens at 6:00 PM.

Come spend one more day with us and help us close out a great week at the Fentress County Fair!

It’s Friday at the Fentress County Fair!

Tonight’s schedule:

5:00 PM — Open Goat Show — Barn
6:30 PM — Thunder on the Mountain Truck Pull — Main Arena

The midway opens at 6:00 PM with $20 unlimited ride bracelets. A $2 activation fee applies if purchasing a new wristband.

Gate admission:
Adults — $10
Ages 6–12 — $6
Ages 5 & under — Free
