Today and tomorrow, we are celebrating our amazing grandparents at Greeneview Middle School as each grade level gets its own special opportunity to share time together during lunch. Our grandparents never disappoint, showing up in record numbers year after year! A special shout-out to our amazing PTO for all their hard work organizing this event and making these meaningful connections possible!

Mr. Olds’ students got into the Halloween spirit with a bubbling science experiment featuring a spooky batch of Witches’ Brew!
Using vinegar, green food coloring, and baking soda, students created a bubbling, fizzing reaction that brought science to life. This hands-on activity was a fun way to explore chemical reactions while celebrating the season.

A big thank-you to the Silvercreek Fire Department for joining us at Greeneview Elementary to celebrate National Fire Prevention Week!

Our students enjoyed a short assembly before getting an up-close look at all the trucks. It was a wonderful opportunity to learn more about fire safety and the important work our local firefighters and EMS do to keep our community safe.

A special thank-you to Chief Steve Payton and Assistant Chief Ryan Harper for spending time with our students and helping make this a memorable learning experience!

While our students enjoyed a day at home, Greeneview staff spent the day learning, collaborating, and strengthening their practice!

Our full day of professional learning included exploring AI and the capabilities of MagicSchool, discussing differentiation to better meet the needs of all learners, collaborating in department meetings, reviewing guidance for gifted education and special education, and reviewing safety and security measures - along with other important work.

We are grateful for the dedication of our staff and their commitment to continuous growth!

Our 4th graders in Mrs. Fischer and Mr. Hook’s classes put their engineering skills to the test as they worked through the Engineering Design Process! Students researched, planned, built, and tested their bridges to see who could create the longest bridge possible. Along the way, they practiced problem-solving, creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork!

We had an incredible Homecoming week! Congratulations to our 2026 Homecoming King and Queen, Brevin Cardwell and Lola Smith! From Spirit Week celebrations throughout our schools to the thrill of Friday night’s game and our Great Gatsby Homecoming Dance - this past week was a wonderful reflection of what makes our school community special.
