📢 Friendly Reminder from the City of Jamestown Utilities Department 📢

Customers are reminded that utility bills are due before cut-off on the 21st. Please be sure to make arrangements for payment prior to that date to avoid interruption of services.

Please also keep in mind that City Hall will be closed for the holiday weekend, so we encourage everyone to plan ahead and make payments early if needed.

For your convenience, payments may be made:
• Online through our self-pay system
• By phone with debit/credit card
• Through ACH bank draft
• In the drop box located at City Hall
• By mail

⚠️ Water Main Break Update ⚠️

If you are near One Bank, please be advised that due to the water main break last night, our crews worked until approximately 4:00 a.m. this morning making repairs. We are aware there are still some ongoing issues in the area and crews will continue working to resolve them.

Sorry for any inconvenience, but the City of Jamestown is temporarily closing Central Avenue from Stewart Street to Potters Street, directly in front of One Bank, due to a water main break.

Please use caution in this area and seek an alternate route if possible while crews work to make repairs.

The City of Jamestown Park Crew installed a changing table today in the men’s restroom at the park.

This location was selected based on available space to ensure we could provide this amenity for our community. The changing table is designed to accommodate newborns, mid-size children, and individuals with additional needs, allowing it to be utilized by a wide range of users.

Please note, the changing table is currently located in the men’s restroom. Our restroom layout does not include multiple stalls, which allows for privacy regardless of use. While we do have both men’s and women’s restrooms, our priority was to make sure this resource was made available as soon as possible.

An additional changing table will also be available at the pool facility once it opens for the season.

Thank you all for your support—we are always happy to make improvements that better serve our community.

The City of Jamestown would like to clarify our payment processing procedures regarding debit and credit cards.

For customers who choose to pay online using a debit or credit card, please be advised that all payment information is entered and managed solely by the account holder. The City does not have access to, nor do we store or maintain, customers’ card information. Therefore, if a card expires, is replaced, or changes for any reason, it is the customer’s responsibility to update their payment details within their online account to avoid any interruption in payments.

As an alternative, the City does offer an automatic draft option using a bank account. Customers may submit a voided check to authorize monthly payments directly from their account.

Okkkkk guys our park crew have been super busy! Here is an update lately! New mulch for the kiddos to enjoy the equipment. It’s jelly bean mulch. It’s absolutely 100 percent metal free and it feels like you’re walking on cushion! We are so excited for this. We are preparing getting the splash pad and pool open also. We are working on changing tables we know this has been an issue. We are so excited for the kids to enjoy this!

Our Park Supervisor and crew have been working very hard to improve these restrooms, and we’re happy to announce they will be open beginning tomorrow, April 2.

We ask everyone to please take pride in these facilities and help us keep them clean and in good condition for the entire community. A lot of time and effort has gone into making these restrooms a nicer place for everyone to use.

Cameras are now in place, and any vandalism or misuse will result in consequences.
