And just like that, Ag. Literacy Week 2026 has come and gone! We had a wonderful time learning about what all four seasons bring on the farm. With all your help, we successfully delivered agricultural activities and interactive readings to over 2,800 students across Chautauqua County!

Thank you to all our amazing volunteers and donors, we absolutely couldn’t have done it without your support and dedication! Until next year🪱🌈🪴

Calling all neighbors, farmers, parents, & friends!

With Ag. Literacy Week just a few weeks away, we are looking for Volunteer Readers and Donors to help make our program amazing! We have classroom/library openings all across Chautauqua County.

Volunteers will go into classrooms around the county, share a little on their agricultural background, read this year's book "Seasons on the Farm", and help guide students through a preprepared activity. Just 30-45 minutes of your time can spark curiosity & support local agriculture. ❤📚

To sign up as a volunteer or donate to this year's program, please contact Sofia Russo, county coordinator for Chautauqua County, at [email protected], (716)-664-9502 ext. 203, or visit our website for more info! https://chautauqua.cce.cornell.edu/agriculture/new-york-agriculture-literacy-week
