Bismarck city forestry staff detected emerald ash borer this week while removing declining ash trees, marking the first detection in central North Dakota. The insect has also been found in Cass and LaMoure counties.

The Stutsman County Master Gardener Gleaning Project is collecting extra edible produce from local gardens and fields to help get fresh food to those in need.
If you have more than you can use, we’d be grateful for your donation! 💚
🌿 Please make sure produce is fresh and in good condition.
🌿 Bring your extra produce to the Stutsman County Extension Office, and we’ll help get it to those in need.
Together, we can grow community, reduce waste, and share hope. 🌻
