At their May 11 meeting, the JSDC Board of Directors approved funding support through the Daycare Expansion Assistance Program for A Tiny Roar Childcare, a new childcare venture owned by Carolyn Triepke and Amber Selander.

The new licensed childcare center, located at 214 6th Avenue NE in Jamestown, will have the capacity to serve up to 30 children ages 0–6. Funding will help purchase essential furniture and equipment, along with building improvements, as the space is prepared to open.

This project will reactivate a former childcare site and help address Jamestown’s childcare shortage while supporting local families, employers, and workforce growth.

Corry and Alyssa spent the morning in Valley City attending the SE Regional Economic Development Meeting, sponsored by the Economic Development Association of North Dakota. The event provided an opportunity to network and engage in important discussions with fellow economic development leaders from across the region.
