PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT:

Starting Thursday, September 3, 2026; there will be road closures on 1700-1900 Block of 4th Ave NE for utility work.

This closure will begin at approximately 8:00 AM until approximately 5:00 PM or until work is complete.

Please watch for signs posted, remove vehicles and trailers from the roadway during this operation.

Motorists should use caution in this area and take alternate routes during this time, if possible.

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT:

Please note that due to the Labor Day Holiday, there will be NO garbage or recycling collection on Monday, September 7, 2026.

All routes will be delayed one day.

City offices will be closed Monday, September 7, 2026. Regular hours will resume Tuesday, September 8, 2026.

For questions regarding garbage collection, call the Baling Facility at 701-252-5223 and questions regarding recycling, call 701-320-9218.

Wednesday September 2, 2026: City crews will be mosquito fogging the Southeast (SE) and Southwest (SW) area of the city until completed.

Thursday September 3, 2026: City crews will be mosquito fogging the Northeast (NE) and Northwest (NW) area of the city until completed.

Fogging will begin at approximately 09:00 P.M and will continue until finished, approximately 6:00 A.M.

The above schedule is contingent upon changing weather conditions and wind speeds.

It is advised to keep children and pets off the streets and away from the fogging machines during these times. Motorists should use caution in these areas.

Starting Tuesday, September 1st, 2026, there will be chip sealing done as part of the City Street Maintenance Program. This is expected to continue through Friday, September 4th, 2026.

This will include the entire Paving District in the Northeast (NE) areas of the city.

Watch for signs posted, remove vehicles and trailers from roadway during this operation.

Motorists and other traffic should use caution when entering these construction areas and consider alternate routes, if possible.
