🎨Bad Art Night🫟 was one of the funniest and most fun nights! It was a HIT!! And there will be two more this summer!!

What you see in the pictures posted here are portraits of Miss Paige, our Youth Services Librarian, made by the tweens and teens who attended our first-ever Bad Art Night. She is absolutely astounded by the accuracy and likeness they portrayed!

This event is for children 11 and up. There are prompts given, random supplies laid out, and just a couple of rules: you can't use typical art/drawing supplies (paint/markers/pencils), and it cannot be GOOD. Worst art takes home a coveted and ridiculous trophy!

We had a ROAR-ing good time during the Memorial Day parade yesterday! 🦖📚

Our dinosaurs were out and about helping us spread the word about this year’s Summer Reading Program theme: “Unearth a Good Story”! Don't forget -- our Summer Reading Program Kick Off Party is June 6th from 10am to 1pm!

Seeing our community come together is one of our favorite things, and we hope you all had a wonderful holiday weekend. We'd like to thank our staff and their families for donating there time to walk the parade!

Most importantly, we are deeply grateful to the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Thank you for honoring and remembering them with us this Memorial Day.

It is getting closer! 2 weeks from TODAY we are kicking off our Summer Reading Program and all of the fun activities that go along with it!

Come sign your child 0-18 up for the reading program that day! (We are tracking DAYS this year, and every 10 days there is a PRIZE! And the GRAND PRIZES are going to be AMAZING!!)

There will also be free face painting, free henna tattoos, free games and prizes, and LOTS of fun!! Plus all of the info for the extra activities this summer for kids of ALL ages!

We can't wait to see you :)

Family Storytime has been SO MUCH FUN on Wednesday mornings at 11!! These are just a few of the crafts that the kiddos have done with Miss Paige at storytime since she started in January. 💦🐸🐝🌷🦖🐻🪱🫧

Storytime will continue ALL SUMMER at the same time of 11 a.m. on Wednesdays. And there is another surprise! The second storytime of the month will be held in the loft at The Little Dipper starting in June!

If this storytime does not work for you and you have a toddler or infant, join Miss Paige on Tuesdays at 10 a.m. for Bounce and Learn, which is a special storytime that combines sensory, play, movement and music!! These are held in the Depot Room each week and will also continue on through the summer

👏By popular demand, we are bringing back the Tween Olympic Event!! Our February Winter Olympic Blitz was SUCH a blast, hilarious and so action-packed that we decided to host one again, but this time we are doing Dino-Lympics for our Unearth A Story themed Summer Reading Program!!

We are getting so excited as we get closer to our Summer Reading Kick Off Party on June 6th!🌞 Another one of the events that we are doing this summer on June 16th is a Hat Patch Bar for all ages! 🧢

Children will be able to come and pick from a variety of iron on patches, choose their hat color, design their layout, and then have them pressed onto the hat to keep!
