Chief Justice John Roberts is facing a formal disbarment complaint at the DC Bar, and the details are genuinely spectacular in how brazenly they illustrate the rot at the top of our judicial system.
For twenty years, Roberts failed to disclose that his wife was pulling in millions in commission income from law firms—some of which were actively arguing cases in front of him. We're talking $10.3 million documented, potentially $20 million total. And instead of disclosing commissions? He labeled them as salary on federal forms.
