Abby is one of our staff members and spends part of her day working with our animals on target training.

Training like this can be important to us and serve as an enrichment for the animal. The animal is engaged, learning, and receiving positive reinforcement for executing desired behaviors.

We are happy to have Abby on our team and adding another tool we can use to give all our residents the best possible care in this forever home.

We are just caretakers caring for animals that speak in other languages. But to be able to understand and put a team together that work together for a good outcome is what we thrive for.
Thanks to Dr Neihaus and his team dedicated to Helping us Help them🐾🐾 ! Dr Stuart putting everything together and laid out! Ultrasound photos to review, lab samples to send to the lab.

We need volunteers!

Catty Shack Ranch is a volunteer-driven organization and we rely heavily on the caring people that donate their time to us. The more volunteers we have, the more we can do.

We need Porter Cable power tools! Please donate new or gently used tools and help us do our work.

We use 20 volt battery powered tools for all the building, clearing, and other jobs when we don’t have a source of electricity nearby. The weather and how much we rely on these tools have taken a toll on them. All these in the picture no longer work, and repairing them is not cost effective.

You can donate gently used or new tools, chargers, and batteries by dropping them off at the sanctuary, or visit our Amazon wish list (link below) to order something for us.

Adrian is licking her lips while dreaming of dinner, and Nikki is holding on until dinner time! Wish list item of the week: Kitchen supplies!

We added tongs and knives to our wish lists and would love your help getting some. One thing we need for meal prep too is the MSM supplement that helps our older cats’ joints. MSM and glucosamine together gives faster and stronger relief of aching joints. You can help our cats feel better by donating MSM (glucosamine too, but we have considerably more of it right now).

Lastly, we need bleach! We always need bleach and our shelf is bare. Order it, or maybe bring some when you come to visit. It is essential to all our daily chores.

Every day is a spa day when you have a pool with a view. Leo is waiting for visitors to arrive even though I told him we open at 11am. Come join us any day between 11am and 3pm with guided tours at 12:30 and 2:00. Or come to a night feeding on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday with admittance starting at 6pm and the feeding at 7pm.
