Join us Monday, October 12 at 10 AM at Brookdale Southside for our monthly Southside Senior Enrichment Council gathering.

SSEC brings together local professionals who are passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors in our community. Our meetings are focused on collaboration, community initiatives, fundraising efforts, and finding real solutions for local seniors in need.

Wow, what a fantastic Pass the Baton event yesterday! đź’™

We had the opportunity to hear from JPC Insurance, SilverLink Consulting LLC, Berg Bryant Elder Law Group, Angel Anderson Cutshall, and Dovida Jacksonville, and we learned SO much from each of our incredible speakers.

One of our favorite parts of the event was the open format. Rather than following a strict presentation, we allowed questions from our attendees to help guide the conversation. This created a meaningful discussion that was relevant to our group and the specific situations they’re navigating.

We loved being able to educate, connect, and empower our community — all while enjoying a delicious lunch together! 🥗

A huge thank you to our speakers, attendees, and everyone who helped make the event such a success. Especially All Souls Anglican Church for allowing us to use their space. We’re already excited to start planning our next one!
