School’s out and summer is here! ☀️ For many kids, that means vacations, camps, pool days, and time with friends.

But for many of the children and families in our care, summer can also bring added stress — including food insecurity, fewer routines, childcare challenges, and increased mental health needs.

At Daniel, support doesn’t stop when school ends. Our team works all summer long to help kids feel safe, supported, engaged, and cared for through counseling, case management, activities, essential items, and compassionate care.

As we celebrate the start of summer, thank you for continuing to support children and families in crisis throughout our community. 💙

Our Employee Relations Committee recently hosted an Art Night for staff—an opportunity to unwind, have fun, and spend time together outside of the day-to-day. At Daniel, we believe supporting our team matters, and moments like these remind us that we’re more than coworkers—we’re a family.

Huge thank you, B&C Financial Advisors! We love when Daniel supporters come out for a playdate at our residential campus! 💙

Not only is it fun to see adults jump in and play games with our kids, but these visits also give our youth a special recreational treat and an opportunity to practice important social skills.

So a big shoutout to B&C Financial Advisors for being wonderful supporters—and solid wiffleball players! ⚾ We can only do this important work because of donors and community partners like you. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
