At just 6 years old, Satyam is already learning that you’re never too young to make a difference. ❤️

Instead of asking for birthday presents, Satyam asked his friends to donate food to the LSS Food Pantry. And after delivering those donations and seeing the pantry firsthand, he decided he wanted to do even more.

Inspired by his family—and especially his big brother, Jahan—Satyam is finding his own way to give back and help neighbors in our community.

Please join us in welcoming Rev. Stephen A. Wiggins Sr. to the LSS Board of Directors!

Rev. Wiggins brings decades of faith-centered leadership and a lifelong connection to the Lutheran Church. His experience spans ministry, education and church leadership across the country, including 19 years as pastor of Christ Lutheran Church in East Point, Georgia, before accepting the call to Saint Paul in Jacksonville.

His experience and perspective will be valuable to the LSS Board and our work serving individuals and families throughout Northeast Florida.

If you or someone you know is experiencing homelessness, living in a vehicle, couch surfing, or without stable housing, this resource may be able to help.

Sulzbacher’s Housing & Hope on Wheels will be at LSS this Friday to connect individuals with housing resources, support services, and other available assistance.

🎹 Before Two Piano Journey, there was simply a mother, a son and a shared love of music.

Michelle once dreamed of touring the world as a pianist. Years later, Christopher helped bring that dream back to life — and together, they turned it into something even bigger.
Today, Two Piano Journey uses music to support nonprofits and make a difference in communities like ours.
On October 24, their journey brings them back to Jacksonville, where every ticket helps people in our community find stability and hope. ❤️
