Onslow County Council for Women Enhancing the lives of women in Onslow County through education, understanding and encouragement.

Throughout its history, the Council has supported the Onslow Women’s Center, a non-profit agency giving crisis aid to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. The Council has supported organizations such as the Girl Scouts, The PEERS Family Development Center, Onslow Caregivers, Inc., and the Onslow Women’s Health Fund. The Council also implements and hosts educational programs highlighting issues as diverse as women’s health and pay equity and lends its support to programs that enhance our community. By networking with agencies and organizations in the awards programs, voter education and BOLD (Bettering Our Local Downtown) sponsored events, the Council is given the opportunity to diversify ideas, programs, projects and membership.
