Our one and only Book Fair of the year is coming up, and we need YOU to help us make it our biggest and best yet! 📖✨

Give us a little of your time, and we’ll give you a little Book Fair spending money! 😉 Each volunteer will receive a one-time $10 Book Fair credit to use for your student or your student’s classroom!

Only a Level 1 volunteer background clearance is required.

This is a great opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at what they are learning in class and ask any questions about how to best support them!

⭐️Waterleaf is more than just the neighborhood elementary school. For so many of us, it's a lifeline. It's where our kids spend the day with their best friends. It's where we connect with other families in our community. It's where students receive occupational therapy, speech services, and other specialized academic help. It's where children receive meals and smiles and encouragement they desperately need.

🐾We know we've put out lots of "Join PTA" asks, but it's because we care so deeply about everyone who walks through those front doors.

📣Save the Date for our annual Scholastic Book Fair! Shop big. Read more. Support Waterleaf. 🐾

📚We are so excited to be hosting another book fair this fall! Due to scheduling, this will be our ✨ONLY Book Fair✨ of the school year, so let’s make it our BIGGEST and BEST one yet! Here are the details:

📍Waterleaf Media Center
🗓️Schedule as follows:
- Preview Days: September 17th-18th (Thursday and Friday)
- Shopping Days: September 21st-25th (Monday-Friday)
- Before School Shopping: September 22nd (Tuesday) | 7:30AM-8:30AM*
**if you are not in extended day you must stay with your student till 8am*
- Family Night: September 24th (Thursday) | 6:00PM-7:30PM

More information is coming, but please keep in mind:
✅We are coinless again this year. (More details coming)
✅Students will be visiting the book fair with their classes, but parents are encouraged to come with them on Family Night and for Before School Shopping.
✅E-wallet instructions will be sent home in folders and posted online in the coming days.

We have another BIG reason to be proud of our school community! Waterleaf Elementary has officially been named a 2025–2026 GOLD PBIS Model School by the Florida Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (FLPBIS) Project! 🎉👏

This recognition celebrates Waterleaf’s commitment to creating a positive, supportive environment where every student can learn, grow, and thrive.

A huge congratulations to our amazing students, teachers, staff, and administration who make Waterleaf such a special place every day!
