Assigned to RLSO Southeast BROFF Corpus Christi, LN1 Lockett stepped into the critically important role of Legal Assistance Department Leading Chief Petty Officer for seven months. Exhibiting outstanding leadership and expertise, she led a team of 38 Sailors and 21 civilians, with her direct mentorship resulting in accolades for her team from awards and recognition to qualifications and educational achievements!

LCDR Sarah Burkett, Officer in Charge of Detachment Gulf Coast, was selected for the Leadership Award, recognizing her exceptional leadership and driving Fleet and Sailor readiness across the Gulf Coast.

During Hurricane Melissa, the RLSO Southeast team demonstrated exceptional dedication and responsiveness. From facilitating the safe movement of 850 personnel and nearly 100 pets off Naval Station Guantanamo Bay to providing critical legal support, accountability, and EFAC assistance in Pensacola, RLSO SE delivered 24/7 aid where it was needed most. A special thank you to LT Ferreiras, LT Skaff, LT Stalder, LN1 White, the rest of the Pensacola team, and all those who supported claims processing, airlift operations, and care for displaced families.
