Today's Shelter Spotlight comes from Pearl River, Louisiana!
Jasmine is a special case and has been from the moment she came into the shelter. She is a 5 yr old diabetic Purebred Olde English Bulldog that someone threw away as garbage as soon as she got sick but not before making money off of as many litters as she could produce. She has beaten cancer and is fighting diabetes off every day. This girl has amazed us from day one with her sheer will to live, to love and to be loved. She fought her way back from nothing with no grumbling and griping, no whining and crying and just eternally grateful for the helping hand and to have the love she has never known. Jas needs to be the only pet in the home but she does fantastic around children of all ages and meets everyone with patience. She is housebroken and does not chew anything. Jasmine is a super calm girl and is very good to get her blood sugar checked and her insulin shots especially considering she is almost 80 pounds. She has been in and out of several homes because she cannot live with other animals. Shes a total love and so easy to handle. She is an extremely special case and deserves a loving home with loving people.
