⏰ Important Reminder for Students:
Students DO NOT wear their spirit-day clothing to school all day! Spirit outfits are ONLY for the football game at 4:00 PM. 🏈

Students who are staying after school with Boys & Girls Club for Game Day After School Care will have the opportunity to change into their spirit-day clothing before the game. Please send spirit clothes with your student if they plan to participate!

🐻 NBMS DRESS CODE REMINDER | BEARS HAVE PRIDE! 🖤💛

📅 Beginning Monday, August 31, teachers will begin consistently enforcing the dress code and using student punch cards to document violations.

Here is what families need to know:

• Every student will receive a warning BEFORE receiving a punch for a dress code violation.
• The warning will be documented on the student's punch card as “DCW” (Dress Code Warning).
• After a student has received a DCW, future dress code violations may result in a punch on the student's card.
• Students are expected to arrive at school each day dressed according to NBMS dress code expectations.

📄 Please take a few minutes to review the detailed dress code document included with this post (link at the bottom). It provides additional information about approved clothing, shoes, hair, accessories, and other dress code expectations.

We appreciate our families helping us by reviewing the expectations with students before Monday. Consistency between home and school makes a BIG difference!

🌿🐻 HELP US GROW SOME BEAR PRIDE! 🐻🌿

We have a vision for our NBMS garden, and we would LOVE the help of our amazing families and community to bring it to life! 💛🖤

We are looking for anyone willing to help us beautify this space for our students. There are lots of ways to pitch in:

🌱 Donate your time
🎨 Share your talents — especially landscapers, painters & creative helpers!
💰 Donate funds to help purchase materials
🌼 Donate plants, flowers, mulch, soil, garden tools, paint, outdoor décor, pine straw & other supplies

No contribution is too small. A few hours, a donated plant, a bag of mulch, or a monetary donation can all help us turn this area into something our students can enjoy and be proud of.

We are inviting our NBMS families and community members to sponsor a teacher for the 2026–2027 school year!
