JFCS HELPS FAMILIES REBUILD THROUGH REUNIFICATION
Reunification is one of the most meaningful goals of child welfare work. It reflects the hard work of parents and caregivers, the support of case managers, and the steady restoration of trust, stability, and safety within a family.
Did You Know?
In Florida, more than half of children who were reunified in 2024 returned home within 12 months of entering foster care. That timeline matters, because every month in care represents time a child is waiting for permanency, belonging, and the familiar bonds of family.
At JFCS, we work alongside families to help them address challenges and strengthen support systems with a comprehensive suite of wraparound services, resources, and managed care. Through this critical work, we help guide families through the process of reunification whenever it is possible and safe.
When families are supported and children are protected, reunification can become a powerful step toward a stronger future. Visit https://jfcsjax.org to learn more about our ongoing mission to support families across Northeast Florida.
