ATTENTION BASE RESIDENTS: As base personnel and residents return to the local area, please keep the following in mind as you arrive at your home for the first time:

- Carefully inspect your home.
- Photograph all damage.
- If there is damage in your home and you feel it is unsafe to remain there for the night, residents have the following options:

1) Stay with a neighbor
2) Call 910-451-0849 to speak with a representative who will provide coordinating instructions for on base shelter requirements and locations.

SAFE RETURN ROUTES: Officials in North Carolina and South Carolina are recommending the following safe return routes back to the base and air station.

Please note that many routes from the south or west of the base or air station are not safe as widespread flooding persists, and many rivers and other waterways will not crest (reach peak flooding) until later this week:

- US-264 East to NC-43 South (Greenville)
- NC-43 South (Greenville) to US-17 South (New Bern)
- US-17 South (New Bern) to US-70 East (Morehead City)

- US-64 East to US-17 South (Williamston)
- US-17 South (Williamston) to NC-43 South (Greenville)

- US-70 East (Morehead City) to NC-24 West (Jacksonville)

- SC-31 North to SC-9 North
- SC-9 North to US-17 North (Wilmington)

- US-17 North to NC-24 East (Jacksonville)
