๐๏ธ June is PTSD Awareness Month, and it is time to change the narrative.
PTSD is often one of the most misunderstood topics within the military community. It may impact how someone experiences stress, relationships, sleep, or daily life, but it is only one part of a much larger story.
At NC4ME, we believe in "Purpose through Employment." PTSD does not define a service member, veteran, or military family member, nor does it define what they are capable of achieving.
Challenges and capability coexist. Many individuals living with PTSD continue to lead, contribute, work, raise families, and build meaningful futures every single day. By moving beyond assumptions and reducing stigma, we create environments where our veterans feel supported, understood, and empowered to thrive.
This month, we encourage you to listen, learn, and recognize that every experience is different. Letโs commit to seeing the person, not the diagnosis.
