Alright, MAGA, here are simple, indisputable facts. No spin, just facts:

Donald Trump promised:

To eliminate the national debt — he's added more to it than any president in history.

He had a health care plan that would provide better, more affordable coverage to more Americans — a decade later he's never released any health care plan.

That Mexico would pay for the wall — they never paid a single penny for any part of the wall, which isn't close to being built anywhere near 100% across our entire border.

He, and he alone, was the only person who wouldn't start a war with Iran — he started a war with Iran.

He would "end the war in Ukraine before officially being sworn in — with one phone call" — the war is no closer to being over today than it was nearly a year and a half ago when he took office.

He would have gas prices below $2 a gallon — gas is currently over $4 a gallon and, even before his war in Iran, was nowhere near a national average of $2 per gallon.

His policies would deliver an average GDP growth of 4–6% — the average GDP growth for 2025 and Q1 of 2026 is 2.08%, which is down from the average of 2.8% growth we saw during Biden's last year as president in 2024.

We would be in a "golden age" for the economy with historic job growth — 2025 was one of the worst years for job growth since the pandemic and 2026 is on pace to have less than half the growth we saw in 2024. In fact, on our current trajectory, we will have created twice the number of jobs in 2024, Biden's final year, than we will have in Trump's first two years combined as president.

He would release his tax returns — he never did.

We would all be getting DOGE checks from all the savings Elon Musk was going to find in our budget — no such checks will ever exist as the savings DOGE found were minuscule, not coming anywhere close to their stated goal, and DOGE was shut down months before it was initially scheduled to end.

We would be getting tariff dividend checks — no such checks would ever have existed as his tariffs were ruled unconstitutional and, additionally, only brought in roughly $166 billion, mostly paid for by American taxpayers.

The ballroom would be "fully paid for by donations with zero costs passed on to the taxpayers" — Republicans are now asking for $1 billion in taxpayer dollars to be put toward building this president's vanity project that's gone from $200 million to $300 million, and now it's up to $1 billion.

He would "lower prices on Day 1" — we just saw inflation in March rise to 3.3% and in April up to 3.8%, its highest level in over three years.

He would be too busy to golf, as he would be "working too hard as president" — he's gone golfing more in five years than Obama went in eight years, at an astronomically higher cost to taxpayers, as most of his golf outings are down in Florida.

He would pass a massive infrastructure bill to "rebuild America" — he's never passed any such bill, but Joe Biden did.

He would have the government force insurance companies to pay for in vitro fertilization for women having trouble getting pregnant — he never once attempted to pass any such legislation and has since moved to basically allowing "the market" to dictate costs... which was exactly how the system worked already.

He would "immediately" bring down the price of groceries — the latest data shows grocery prices rising at a rate of 2.9% over the last 12 months.

His tariff policies would "drastically reduce" the nation's trade deficits — despite his tariffs that were mostly paid for by American consumers, the nation's overall trade deficit was largely flat from 2024; however, the goods deficit (physical products like cars, electronics, oil, clothing, machinery, etc.) reached a record high.

Again, not here to add a bunch of spin to any of this — just listing out a few promises that Donald Trump has made and the actual realities of what happened, where every single thing I've listed above is easily verifiable for anyone willing to take a couple of minutes to do the research.

Though I highly doubt anyone from MAGA will ever do that. They'll do what they always do: attack the facts, throw out insults, deflect away from everything listed here, and parrot talking points they've been told to say by members of the right-wing media. -Allen
