UNHOUSED STEERING COMMITTEE UPDATE

We’re excited to officially begin recruiting volunteers for our Street Outreach Team. Volunteers will walk streets, proactively engage individuals experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity, and gather basic outreach data.

All volunteers must adhere to Safe From Harm guidelines, maintain confidentiality, and uphold appropriate professional boundaries. Volunteer requirements include a background check, 6 hours of training, commitment to a scheduled shift, and the ability to walk up to 3 miles unaided. · A Case Coordinator position will be posted soon through the Salvation Army

· We are currently seeking volunteers for Street Outreach, who will also apply through the Salvation Army
