Licking Township Fire Company The Licking Township Fire Company was established in 1995 to provide Fire and EMS protection to the residents of Licking Township.

Today the Licking Township Fire Company provides primary fire/EMS response to 56 square miles of Licking County—including all of Licking Township, the majority of Franklin Township, and part of Bowling Green Township (map: https://goo.gl/maps/ebd5kegXRtgDNgKs5). We are a combination department consisting of one full-time fire chief and part-time/volunteer personnel. LTFC is staffed 24/7/365 with 3

-5 part-time personnel and supplemented by volunteers. We take approximately 1200 runs per year and steadily increasing. LTFC has a wide coverage area consisting of Buckeye Lake State Park, Dawes Arboretum, ODOT District 5 office, Legend Valley Music Center, Taft Nature Reserve, Brown Nature Reserve, multiple restaurants, bars & businesses, as well as 36 lane miles of Interstate 70. Our home station (601) is in Jacksontown with a substation (602) in Franklin Township. LTFC apparatus consists of 2 engines, 1 engine/rescue, 2 engine/tankers, 2 grass trucks, 1 UTV, 3 ALS ambulances, a dive/rescue trailer, and 2 boats. LTFC provides mutual aid to 9 other fire departments, as well as responds with the Licking County Rescue Team.

Training focused on safe vessel operation, water rescue procedures, crew coordination, and familiarization with equipment used during marine emergencies. Regular training ensures our personnel are prepared to respond quickly and effectively when emergencies occur on the water.
