๐ซ Please Donโt Dump Debris in Ditches and Storm Drains ๐ซ
Roadside ditches and stormwater systems are designed to carry rainwater safely away from homes, roads, and businesses. When grass clippings, tree limbs, leaves, trash, or other debris are dumped into these areas, they can block drainage, increase flooding risks, and pollute local streams and lakes.
โ
How You Can Help:
โข Dispose of yard waste and debris properly
โข Keep ditches and drainage areas near your property clear
โข Report blocked drains or drainage concerns to the City of Jackson at 573-243-2300
๐ณ Need to dispose of tree limbs or branches? The Jackson Recycling Center accepts brush debris at its brush drop-off site. Please use Sawyer Lane to access the drop-off area.
Every resident plays an important role in protecting our stormwater system. Keeping ditches clear helps reduce flooding, improves water quality, and keeps our community safe and beautiful.
Together, we can keep Jackson flowing smoothly!
