🌟 Career Connections: Pivot! 🌟

We kicked off Career Connections with one of our yearly guest speakers, Nicole Bullock, and she brought an encouraging message about finding your path—and knowing when it’s time to make a change.

Nicole serves as a Clinical Instructor and Training Center Coordinator with Diversicare Healthcare Services and is also a Realtor with Rachel Ray Realty. She shared her experiences in both career fields and gave our students an inside look at the different paths a professional journey can take.

💬 One of her biggest messages? It’s okay to pivot! Sometimes a career change is exactly what you need to grow, learn something new, or find a path that better fits your goals.

We’re grateful to Nicole for sharing her story, encouraging our students, and reminding them that their career journey doesn’t have to follow a straight line. There’s always room to explore, grow, and make a change.

A new pathway to high-demand careers is now available for adult Mississippians.

and the Mississippi Office of Student Financial Aid have launched the UPSKILL Mississippi Grant, providing last-dollar financial assistance for eligible adults pursuing workforce-aligned certificate and associate degree programs at Mississippi’s public community and junior colleges.
