Neighborhood Services’ Keep Jackson Beautiful team recently hosted a citywide litter cleanup in partnership with various City of Jackson, TN - Government departments. In less than five hours, crews cleaned over 20 streets and collected more than 2,500 lbs of trash.

This effort is part of the Greatest American Cleanup, in partnership with Keep Tennessee Beautiful and Keep America Beautiful.

💪25,800 POUNDS! 💪

🙌That's how much trash we removed from our community last month during "No Trash November" with Keep Jackson Beautiful, thanks to an amazing, collaborative effort!

🫶This massive cleanup wouldn't have been possible without our dedicated partners: the incredible Madison County Sheriff's Office Tennessee all-woman inmate crew, Dreamers & Makers, Jackson-Madison County Schools, City of Jackson, TN - Police Department, Lane College, and Downtown Jackson TN. When we work together, we can move mountains (or in this case, a literal ton of garbage!).
