• Basement or Storm Cellar (Best option).
• Interior room (Closet or bathroom) on the lowest floor.
• Under a stairwell away from windows.

đźš« What NOT to Do
• Don’t shelter under overpasses or stay in mobile homes.
• Don’t try to outrun a tornado in your car.
• Don’t open windows; stay away from glass.

• Wait for the official “All Clear.”
• Watch for downed power lines and debris.
• Check on neighbors once it is safe to move.

Plan ahead. Don’t wait until the sirens sound.

• Damaging winds up to 70 mph
• Tornadoes possible (some could be strong)
• Large hail up to golf ball size

⏰ Timing: Mainly 4 PM – 1 AM

🌧️ Flash Flooding Risk (Elevated – Level 2)
• Heavy rainfall of 3–5+ inches in a short time
• Flash flooding likely, especially in low-lying & urban areas
• Roads may become flooded/impassable

⏰ Timing: After 1 PM through early Thursday

🚨 What You Need to Do
• Have multiple ways to receive warnings (including overnight)
• Avoid flooded roads — Turn Around, Don’t Drown
