What an incredible night!

A HUGE thank you to Covered Music for allowing Southern Christian Services for Children and Youth to be a beneficiary of this amazing event! We are so grateful for the opportunity to be part of a night celebrating some of Mississippi’s incredible local musicians while raising support for children, youth, and families in our community.

Connecting Our Community to Stronger Families!

Tiffany recently attended the Health & Wellness Fair at the Good Deeds Community Center in Gulfport, where she had the opportunity to share information about Southern Christian Services’ Parent Strong Program!

Parent Strong provides support, resources, and encouragement to help parents build stronger families and create brighter futures for their children. We’re grateful for opportunities like this to connect with families and community partners across Mississippi.

Thursday Pause at Southern Christian!

It’s National Nonprofit Week, and we’re celebrating one of the things that makes Southern Christian so special, our people!

Every Thursday, we take a little time to PAUSE from the hustle and bustle and enjoy lunch, games, laughter, and fellowship together.

And there’s only ONE rule:
Don’t talk about work!

Because sometimes the best way to recharge is to step away, enjoy good food, have a little fun, and connect with the people you work alongside every day.

Here’s to Thursday Pause; a little food, a few games, lots of laughs, and plenty of fellowship!

We had a great time connecting with families at Canton Elementary School’s Open House & Meet the Teacher!

Our Prevention Team was excited to be there sharing helpful resources and information with parents as students and families prepare for a great school year.

A special thank you to Principal Kyra Thomas and Assistant Principal DeTanya Parker for welcoming us and for their continued commitment to students and families. We’re grateful for opportunities like this to connect, support, and strengthen our communities!
