24-hour Child Abuse Crisis Hotline:

A Child Advocacy Center is designed to be a safe, child-friendly environment where children, who have been the victims of physical or sexual abuse, can talk about the trauma they have experienced and begin the healing process. Law enforcement officials, the District Attorney’s Office, Juvenile Court, the Department of Children’s Services and other agencies who are involved in the investigation, pr

osecution and treatment of child abuse cases all come together as a cohesive unit to work for the child’s best interests. The first thing you will notice about our Advocacy Centers is how much they look like homes instead of office or clinical settings. This is done so that the child does not feel threatened by his or her surroundings; thus, the focus can be on the healing process rather than the unfamiliar environment. The Advocacy Center allows each child’s needs to remain the focal point of the process, rather than transporting the child from agency to agency for the grueling process of discovery, medical exams and treatment.

A look back at a day filled with hope, healing, and so many reasons to celebrate! 🌼🌸📞

From powerful interviews and inspiring stories, to those BIG checks, incredible bands, and all moments in between, the 2026 Circles of Hope Telethon was truly special.

And the biggest reason to celebrate? Together, we’ve ensured Healing Blooms Here by raising OVER $1.6 MILLION! 🎉

Thank YOU for helping us make this possible. We’re so grateful for this community and the way you continue to show up for the children and families of West Tennessee! 💙

A little kindness can go a long way! 🎒💙

This morning, we were grateful to welcome Toyota Tennessee and Comfort Cases as they partnered to provide youth across West Tennessee with backpacks filled with essentials.

Billy Cannon stated, “I am grateful I’ve had great parents and a great organization to work for, and not everyone has that benefit. We’re glad that we can help those who don’t!”

Thank you to Toyota Tennessee and Comfort Cases for showing up for kids and helping make sure they have something they can call their own. We’re so grateful for the partnership and generosity!💙

📅🎉 A Year at a Glance 🎉📅

As our fiscal year ended in June, we reflected on what we had accomplished in the last year. We often list the services at we offer, but there is nothing that speaks for itself more than the actual number of people that have been positively impacted because of the Carl Perkins Center.
💙
"The mission of the Center is to provide support to families in preventing and dealing with child abuse in West Tennessee and to help both parents and children meet the practical needs of preserving and improving the quality of family life."
💙
We believe that by combating child abuse at every angle, we are living our mission of meeting needs and improving the quality of life for the families that we work with in Fayette County.
💙
46 forensic interviews.
738 children received safety training in the schools.
395,000+ Facebook views.
And so much more! Intervention, prevention, community awareness- it is all an important part of ending child abuse in this area.

In loving memory of Stan & Connie Perkins

This year's Circles of Hope Telethon was dedicated to two people whose love, generosity, and presence left a lasting mark on the Carl Perkins Center and so many of us who had the privilege of knowing them.

As Stan and LOLO sing "On My Knees," we remember, we celebrate, and we give thanks for lives that meant so much.

Their impact continues, in every child protected, every family supported, and every bit of hope that continues to bloom.

Stan & Connie, this one was for you.

Turns out, healing blooms here… and so do bloopers. 😂🌸

Somehow, between the interviews, live music, ringing phones, cameras rolling and Telethon magic, we managed to capture quite a few moments that definitely did NOT make the final cut.

Please enjoy the chaos. 😂
