About CANVAS
CANVAS, powered by MUTEH INC., is a new housing assistance program funded by the City of Jackson to provide housing opportunities and related supportive services to vulnerable populations of low-income persons and their families who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, or unstably housed in Hinds, Madison, Rankin, Simpson, and Copiah counties.
Our first priority is to get you stable in a home, or provide assistance that keeps you from losing your home, so that you can focus on your well-being without the stress of worrying about your living situation. Housing = Health!
Our parent organization’s (MUTEH INC.) primary objective is transitioning homeless individuals into stable housing, while also integrating them into the community. MUTEH offers several housing programs, each with a specific focus to reach different needs of the homeless community. These programs are targeted toward Veterans, the mentally ill, and/or chronically homeless populations.
