Who can name all the native plants?

Check out the root of this Dame's rocket! You're probably seeing a lot of this plant out and about, it is a biennial so one year it's just a couple of small leaves and the second year it gets to become a big plant!

πŸ†•οΈπŸ“°πŸš¨NEW MISIN APP!!! πŸ†•οΈπŸ“°πŸš¨

I just wanted to make folks aware that MISIN has been redone and for folks to download the new app. Make sure you remember your login and password that you will need that. So far I am liking the new app, and everything seamlessly will transfer from the old app to the new one! Please check it out. For those using Apple products you might have to wait a couple more days before you see it in your Apple store.

I know using a new app can be a little bit daunting but I have added a note to one of the photos that shows which is the actual button to click to report the species of interest.

Last week we had a great crew that pulled both Dames rocket and garlic mustard at Haehnle bird sanctuary! We pulled 37.5 lbs total, and saw less garlic mustard in previously managed areas!

We're going to do a garlic mustard pull at 9:00 a.m. at this beautiful Haehnle bird sanctuary site! Please join us!

We're going to do a garlic mustard pull at 9:00 a.m. at this beautiful Haehnle bird sanctuary site! Please join us!

Hoping folks get this on their calendar! We will be working with Jackson Audubon to manage garlic mustard (on May 28th) and spotted knapweed (August 20th). No experience is necessary, bring your gardening gloves (if you have them) and some drinking water. *Registration is required so we can notifiy folks of delays or cancelations due to weather.

We absolutely love it when folks share our posts and contents! Sometimes we have our own pictues snd memes that we create, and we ask that you share our entire post rather than download or cut and paste and create your own post/ ~ JLW CISMA
