The City of Jackson has declared a Snow Emergency starting a 2 a.m. on Wednesday , March 5th and continuing until the streets are plowed curb to curb..
Please have all cars, trucks, trailers, ice houses, garbage cans, etc. off the street by 2 a.m. on Wednesday . Violators will be ticketed. Getting your vehicle off the street helps our snow plow drivers do a better job of plowing the streets, saves you a fine, and a backache from having to shovel that awful windrow made by the plow going around your vehicle.
Those who do not have off street parking available may park in the City lot downtown near City Hall and across from the legion.
