Dreaming of building a new home in Jackson? A new partnership is making homeownership more affordable than ever.

The City of Jackson's 100 Homes Program and the MLK Corridor Improvement Authority (MLK-CIA) have partnered to offer 𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 $𝟯𝟬,𝟬𝟬𝟬 in homebuyer assistance for approved buyers who select eligible lots within the MLK Corridor.

That means qualified buyers may receive 𝘂𝗽 𝘁𝗼 $𝟱𝟱,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗯𝘂𝘆𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲, with the opportunity to pursue additional support through MSHDA.

Get outside, stay active, and connect with your community this summer!

The City of Jackson Parks and Recreation Department, in partnership with AARP Michigan, invites Jackson County residents of all ages and abilities to participate in Walk, Roll, and Stroll Jackson.

These free, non-competitive events are family- and pet-friendly and offer an opportunity to enjoy Jackson's parks while meeting new people. Participants will also have a chance to win a prize at each event. Walks are led by Jackson Parks and Recreation staff.

📅 First and Third Tuesdays, May through July

🕕 Registration: 6 p.m.
🚶 Walk Begins: 6:30 p.m.
📍 Up to 3 miles (shorter distances available)
