Forward progress has been stopped. Crews will remain on scene for approximately 2 hours for mop up. Please use caution in the area.

Amador Fire is on scene of a residential structure fire, on Old Sacramento Road in the community of Willow Springs.

First arriving engine made quick access and got knock down preventing any extension to other nearby structures or vegetation.

Crews will remain on scene for overhaul, please use caution in the area as emergency equipment is still present in the area.

A quick look at Monday’s Memorial Day commemoration at Plymouth Veterans Park, honoring the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. 🇺🇸

Thank you to the Rotary Club of Plymouth Foothills for continuing this special community tradition. It is always an honor for Amador Fire to take part in this ceremony and display our nation’s flag.

Eight weeks of demanding training, long hours, and unwavering commitment led to this moment. The Amador Fire 26-1 Academy is designed to prepare individuals for the realities of the fire service while building the discipline, resilience, teamwork, and trust this profession requires.

Graduation is more than completing an academy, it is the beginning of a commitment to serve others and carry the responsibility that comes with this profession.

At Amador Fire, we believe the fire service is built on showing up for one another, working through challenges together, and standing beside each other when it matters most.

Congratulations to the graduates of the Amador Fire 26-1 Recruit Firefighter Academy, and welcome to the Amador Fire family.

Amador Fire is currently on scene of a traffic collision on Ridge Road near Sandar Road in Pine Grove.

Roadway is currently blocked in both directions, please use an alternate route.

This Memorial Day, we honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation. Their courage and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

This morning, Amador Fire is facilitating an evacuation drill for the Rolling Oaks Firewise Community in Fiddletown.

This is only a drill and is intended to simulate an evacuation scenario for the community as part of our ongoing emergency preparedness and evacuation planning efforts.

Residents may notice an increased presence of emergency vehicles in the area of Fiddletown Road and surrounding roadways throughout the morning. Please use caution in the area.

A debriefing will be held at Amador Fire Station 123 (14410 Jibboom Street) at approximately 11:30 AM.

We would like to thank our cooperating agencies for their assistance and partnership during today’s exercise, including the Amador County Sheriff's Office, CAL FIRE Amador-El Dorado Unit, ETA Evacuation Teams of Amador and The American Red Cross.
