25 years ago today, 343 members of FDNY made the ultimate sacrifice at the World Trade Center. Since then, hundreds more first responders have fallen due to September 11th related illnesses.

Today, we honor the memory of those we lost, and hold their families in our hearts.

Jackson Day 2026 - Station 56 was tasked with demonstrating on the live fire prop at Jackson Day this year. In addition to the demonstration, our members quickly responded to a structure fire this afternoon in the area as well.

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported us today. We look forward to continuing to serve our community.

Our 3rd Annual Cigar Night was a success! Thank you to everyone who showed their support and helped Station 56 continue serving and protecting our community. See you next year.

Tuesday May 19th, 2026 - Cassville Volunteer Company traveled down to the Ocean County Fire Academy for natural gas live burn training hosted by our very own Fire Instructor, Lt Langguth. Crews practiced interior attack line operations, fireground radio communications, and aerial ladder operations.

Last month the Cassville Volunteer Fire Company #1 and district career staff responded to 115 calls for service.

Volunteer and career firefighters also participated in 96 combined hours of training. This training consisted of in-house drills as well as attending academy classes.
