Thank you Village of Saukville for hosting a great meeting tonight. We had Evan Miller from the League of Wisconsin Municipalities give an annual State Legislative update, great job as always, and a big thank you to the Redstone Kitchen for a great dinner.
The next time you’re in Saukville, stop by for lunch or dinner, you won’t be sorry!

Mid-Moraine Legislative Committee Meeting tonight, what an interesting Speaker! Menomonee Falls Fire Chief Joe Pulvermacher gave a great presentation on the escalating cost of Fire & EMS vehicles and how communities can plan for their future needs. A very strong emphasis on how elected officials can work with their fire department leads to plan well ahead for upcoming needs.
Very informative and a discussion that Washington and Ozaukee county officials needed to have to help keep our departments running efficiently.

Thank you to the Village of Kewaskum for hosting tonight’s Dinner Meeting. I would also like to thank our speaker Associate Professor Amber Wichowsky for an outstanding presentation on what Research and Community Dialog teach us about Civility. Professor Wichowsky tailored her presentation to our group and gave the room a lot to think about in their role as civic leaders. The statistics were eye opening. Let’s start working on some of the initiatives brought up tonight to help heal the divide.
Well done everyone, and thank you to “Great Outdoors Supper Club” for a fantastic dinner!

A big thank you to Edwin Van Velzen, Senior Vice President of Construction for Vantage, for an eye opening presentation on the “Lighthouse Project” (Port Washington Data Center), from concept to construction. Mr Van Velzen informed the group on the economic and environmental impact that these projects have on a community. It was great to get the facts from a knowledgeable source.
Member communities were very well represented with 58 in attendance.
Thank you to the Village of Slinger for hosting, and to the “Slinger House” for a great dinner!
