-Details: Provides a place for the community to get relief from the heat/cold in a weather emergency or mass power outage. This determination is made based on state decisions or suggestions by advisors from weather stations to the City of Jackson. -Details: Provides temporary daytime shelter, from extreme cold and inclement winter weather for individuals and families without shelter. Also offers free rides to warming facilities, within JATA bus routes.

- Details: Provides a warming center for seniors during extreme cold temperatures.

Jackson College

- Location: Jets Hangar Center, use Browns Lake Road entrance
- Details: Acts as a cooling center/warming shelter for residents of the community in weather related emergencies.
Participants should bring their own food and drink; no food is available onsite for purchase. Walk-ins accepted

Jackson Interfaith Shelter

- Hours: Extreme weather shelter is open when real feel is 10 degrees or less. Determination is made based on state decisions or suggestions by advisors from weather stations to the City of Jackson. Mon-Sun 12midnight-6am, call to verify hours
- Details: Provides overnight accommodations during times of extreme cold for people who are temporarily at risk for exposure due to a power failure, fuel shortage, road closure, homelessness, or other situations which make them vulnerable.
- No eligibility requirements for service
