At the Scioto Township Volunteer Fire Department Fish & Veal Fry, each meal includes everything you need for a great lunch or dinner:

- Choice of Fish or Veal
- Hushpuppies
- French Fries
- Coleslaw
- Dessert
- Drink

$8 for a full meal
$5 for a sandwich only

And for those on the go, To-Go meals are available as well!

🚒🐟 We’re excited to announce the date for our Annual Fish Fry! 🐟🚒

The Scioto Township Volunteer Fire Department is proud to announce that our Annual Fish & Veal Fry will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, starting at noon!

This is one of our favorite community traditions each year, and we look forward to seeing friends, families, and neighbors come together for great food and great company. Your support helps our volunteer firefighters continue serving the community.

Today starts the beginning for the Ohio open burn ban all the way through November!

🚨‼️ Statewide Open Burn Ban Starts Today – October 1st ‼️🚨
🔥 Restrictions:
No burning between 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (October–November).
🔥 Prohibited Materials (never allowed to burn):
Food waste
Dead animals
Materials containing rubber, grease, asphalt, or petroleum products
🔥 Safe Burning Practices (when allowed):
Keep water readily available
Maintain safe distance from structures, vehicles, gas/propane tanks
Never leave fires unattended
📞 Before burning: Call the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office at 740-286-6464 to notify Dispatch with your name, address, and callback number.
Your cooperation helps keep our community safe!
