Congratulations to Officer Schram and Taz!

Officer Autumn Schram is the Jackson Police Department's new K9 handler and is paired with Taz, a 1-year-old Belgian Malinois.

The duo recently completed training and are ready to assist police with finding missing people, suspects, narcotics and objects important to an investigation.

Officer Schram has been a patrol officer in Jackson for five years and is now the department’s first female K9 handler.

Summer is here and that means we're getting ready for the MLK Center's Summer Youth Program to start on June 26!

This free program is a fun-filled day camp for kids ages 5 to 14 that includes breakfast and lunch, games, arts, and field trips.

Register at the MLK Center from June 20-23rd, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
