Msg from County of Jack TX: March 15, 2026 A Red Flag Warning has been issued for Jack County for Sunday. Northwest winds will range from 25 to 35mph with gusts of 40-50mph and humidity as low as 19 percent. Rapid spread of wildfires is possible due to vary strong northwesterly winds and low relative humidity values. Avoid all outside burning and welding today. Do not toss cigarette butts outside.

We will gather as a community at the Jacksboro High School football field on Thursday at 6:00pm for a community-wide prayer vigil. Please plan on joining us as we grieve as a community and show our support to the families who are grieving the loss of their loved ones, and find our hope in the gospel.
