I have some items at the library I need to get rid of TODAY. My new items begin arriving tomorrow. Desk chairs are &10.00. A couple are free. Monitors, keyboards, 1 computer, large color printer and color cartridges are free. Must be gone by 3:00 TODAY. Call 940-229-4977 or come by. I don’t know what might work, but someone kept it for a reason

It is with a heavy heart that we inform you of the cancellation of all planned programs and activities until further notice. If you are keeping up, then you know of the rapid spread of Covid 19. The Texas State Library Association recommended the immediate closing of all libraries in Texas last week. As a member, we feel we must close to protect our employees and patrons. However, we want to give our patrons a chance to get books, movies or audios, to apply for unemployment, or to do any pressing internet business, or faxing, etc that you depend on us to help you with. That being said, the following will apply:
We will be open Monday and Tuesday from 11:00 to 1:00.
Beginning Wednesday, we will be closed.
If you have urgent needs on
Monday or Tuesday and can’t come during open hours, you may call between 9:00 and 6:00 and someone will assist you.
If you have urgent needs on Wednesday or thereafter, you may call between NOON and 5:00 and we will try to assist you.

Thanks to all who have come in since this started and have met our requests. The Texas State Library said, when asking us to close, that it is impossible to remove all traces of covid19 even if we do all recommendations.

Please do the following:
Use hand sanitizer upon entering and leaving. (Provided)
Observe “social distancing.” (6 ft. apart)
We will clean the computers after each use.
Sorry for any inconvenience- we love and appreciate our patrons. We, like everyone, will be excited to return to our regular schedule when this is over.
