Training Announcement: Ready to strengthen your sheltering skills?
Bucks County Emergency Management is hosting an all-day Mass Care Sheltering Training in partnership with the American Red Cross on Wednesday, 9/9/26, from 8 AM to 5 PM.
This training is designed for EMCs and first responders who want to become more familiar with the fundamentals of mass care sheltering. The American Red Cross, a leader in disaster response and mass care sheltering, will provide the instruction and subject-matter expertise for this training.
Upon successful completion, participants will be qualified as American Red Cross Shelter Supervisors and gain a better understanding of sheltering operations.
• Date: Wednesday, 9/9/26
• Time: 8 AM to 5 PM
• Location: Bucks County Training Center, Doylestown
• Lunch: 1-hour lunch break
• Food: No food will be provided, so please plan accordingly
